Why Nels Place exists
People can experience homelessness or instability for many reasons: loss of income, limited resources, disability, lack of awareness of available assistance, or other barriers. Nels Place exists to help people navigate those barriers with compassion and practical support.
Our goal is more than providing a roof. We want people to experience safety, security, honest assistance, and the opportunity to move toward greater independence and stability.
Our guiding promise: Every person deserves to be treated with dignity while working toward a more stable future.
